Open your eyes, open your mind. It is time to open our eyes and be aware of what the effects of injection drug use are, and acknowledge that Canada has the capabilities to effectively combat the effects. Harm reduction strategies are being imlemented in Canada and should be celebrate and further encouraged due to their life saving and changing benefits. As a group of fourth year UBCO nursing students, we encourage you to THINK about harm reduction and what it can do for your community. Look past the controversy and open your eyes and see how harm reduction can save lives. Harm Reduction Saves Lives and Strenthens Communities.
