i really think more people should know about Roscoe - clearly a legend i only just found out about

something tells me he led an interesting life - would like to find a documentary or soemthing on this guy :)

I'm a 19 year old Bluegrass musician and I recorded this song on my new album after studying this version. Wish I could sing it half as good as Roscoe. He is one of my true heroes and I feel that I can connect with him through his music. I live in the mountains of Tennessee and listen to Roscoe's music late at night on my front porch and just imagine him setting beside me singing this mournful song with his banjo! Hope to meet you one day Roscoe in our home up there!

As an Irish man I can relate the the passion in his voice, like Irish trad songs you can feel every emotion the singer is feeling as they take you on the journey through the song.
