that is not halter breaking, that is ropeing and scaring the shit outta the poor thing.. round pen work is applying gentle pressure and backing off so the horse can decide what to do, this is not an example of horsemanship.

i do see this as dangerous, but it does kinda make sense to do that as well, to get her used to having things associated with humans touching her wherever. good idea.
