this movie is awesome. and i can understand the hardcore fans are mad about it. but you know what, you dont like it dont watch it. I mean if the movies have a great story line, good. I mean the movie can attract more ppl the the whole creation of silent hill, more than the game. it gives them an idea of what the gamers have known and enjoyed for a while.

@Johnlindsey289 Yeah, i've played the games before and they are cool. This movie reminds me of a cross between The Fog, Hellraiser, In the Mouth of Madness and The Cell.

I agree, one of the best horror films of the last decade. Ever played the games? i loved the games since i was 18 when i got it for my PS1 and enjoyed them. The games and this movie reminds me of the works of Fulci, Argento, Stephen King, Lovecraft and The Fog combined.

I Love this Movie. And i Gotta be Honest i Knew Nothing about the Games when i first watched it. - i now own all of them and recently got Shattered Memories- The storyline to this is very interesting, To me it's pretty sad with what happens to Alessa, But overall its a great Film.But when people say its scary. I'm like Whatt? Haha i don't find many Horrors scary though :/, I Was 9 when i watched this seening as thats how old i was when it came out! But yh this movies great and one of my faves. x
