Classic Game Room HD reviews PINBALL QUEST from Jaleco for the Nintendo Entertainment System NES. This unique game combines pinball with an adventure RPG fantasy game... yes, that's like mixing tequila with mayonaisse, yet somehow it works (actually don't try that cocktail, it was just the first thing that popped into my mind. Someone bought one for me as a dare and it wasn't good). Pinball Quest is an 8-bit game dripping with creative innovation that falls a bit flat with sub-par physics and repetitive gameplay. The concept is brilliant, mixing pinball with an 8-bit fantasy adventure game like Zelda. I think that this game could be remade to really kick ass. This CGRHD review of Pinball Quest has gameplay footage from the NES upconverted to HD to show the game play of Pinball Quest. This NES game cartridge also contains 3 other pinball games, Pop! Pop!, Viva Golf! and Carnival. Classic Game Room HD reviews NES games as a retro reviewer reviewing NES classics like Pinball Quest, reviewed within this old school video game review.

  • wow i cant believe someone is reviewing this! me and my grandpa used to play this together in the late 80's. He is a pinball fanatic and he bought and NES for himself just to play Pinball Quest, PinBot and Rollerball.

  • i remember renting this back in the day. great memories.

  • This game looks very fun and creative to play! :D

  • this pinball game had a story lol.. it was awesome

  • On addition a dynamic program use the nvidia codec is need to emulated flash and all this is c++ full powerd windows programs eqivlant programeing and keep in mind this is built on a basic phone os and j2me phones have approximatly 128 megabytes of ram for the main computer 8 megabites are alcotated and idled to the java bios

  • But to get a 62fps you reqiure etheir vitural run time wich is a codec used to emulate nes games on browser play and is used in j2me cell phones in a complex combination of a stand alone java bios link to a primary but dynamic opperateing

System with a version of java codec same as a windows 32 verion but with primarly just the codec

  • Im a java app programer and j2me creater today java is as light as you can get and most apps are 780k or less depending on mid the simplest is 1.0 at a 150k average and only supers still frame animation no rich animation and can only support 8 bit games no apps or add on soft were and can not run stand alone

  • What intregs me about nes and esp rad racer is the complexity comparded to the pysical hard ward today its imposible to run a program as light as rad racer and get that type of frame rate

  • Now that's what I call, creativity.

  • @MetalDudeBen Lmfao I never noticed that nice pointing that out.

  • @oejam Exactly, it's not only about graphics. Innovation is a big key factor.
