@supmag Indeed, this was around 5:15pm in a smallish venue near the Bowery. They played CMJ later that night in a theatre as the second last band on, around 8:30. They were flung off to make room for DataRock, who were abused mercilessly as they set up their equipment by the few irate Scottish people in the crowd. I actually think they played 4 songs in CMJ, Bodies in Flight was the opener, then 2 others (of which I forget). They played a Whole Child Ago as they bouncers were dismantling.

@mezatim Why did they break some gear ?

i love it when it pans across to the drummers cheeky face at the beginning

@todayisok : no it wasn't - it was a mini festival in the lower east side of NY, it's over 4 days showcasing the new young things on the scene. The crowd is tame because it's NY, not because it was execs. I was there for both Biffy gigs that day, the CMJ was better, but unbelievably I don't think there was any footage?! Especially when Simon was gettin' huckled off the stage by a bouncer....

i think i would allow simon to chop my left testicle to see them play a gig like this for me

biffy are an amazing band.... and just to correct the title of this video, the song is called "Glitter and Trauma" :D
-
what i love about them is their passion! they always give 100%, either it is a small festival back in 2005 here in my area or the Rock am Ring festival 2009 with 80.000 people or so. <3

No, this was earlier in the afternoon. I believe they played around 10 songs.
