Tsunacon 2010 Best Overall 7th place AMV Contest AMV Various Sensitive Sky of Anime by Timmie Ng

Hey everyone,

This is my 4th AMV various theme for the entry of the Tsunacon 2010 AMV contest that was held in Sliedrecht (Zuid-Holland) The Netherlands. This was the first time that they change there ranking system. Last year at Tsunacon 2009 they didn't have category groups but now they have for each category a new category like

Best Technical Award 8th place
Best Overall Award 7th place
Best Originality Award didn't participate for that one.

RESULT: Best Overall Award 7th place
GRADE: 63.3

RESULT OPINION:
Well everybody wants to know why my grade of my result is low.
Well I've heard from the judges that I have try another different Style of editing.
So the editing style I have to change try another Genre is what the judges mean.
For the rest they really like the ending and also the flow of the AMV the editing, technial Issues are good.
Just only the style I have to change.


Why this Concept AMV?
Well when I was playing piano by a friend of mine.
I was thinking to use a classical Piano music for my AMV. But I was thinking to do a upbeat mix audio to combine it with piano music. So Ive decided to search on YouTube for a beautiful melody of Piano.

When I saw the Trading Yesterday I was listening some of his music this group artist has different instruments using Guitar, drum, piano so I was thinking to use this song when I hear Shattered I know its not everyone taste but its more a tryout to use this song.

There were 2 different versions the MTT version with Vocal and the no vocal version so Ive decide to use mix both of them of the Audio. Make sure that is not the same repeating Chorus. With the YOU part and the upbeat music.

The reason why I call this Sensitive sky as a AMV theme is because I like various Animes all of them. Any genre I like to watch everything with beautiful sky and the anime of course, the feeling, the beauty of Anime.

How long did your work on it?
2 months in total of more then 150 hours each day a little. Ive start at October last week till the first day of december for the end product.

@MrZordie Clannad is touching and become more famous than Air for the number of episodes (50 vs 14) and for being newer... but, I still think Air has a deeper message, and Misuzu is more adorable than Nagisa.
