This is not strictly a "cover" because although Jessica is well and truly good enough to sing commercially, I am just an old truck driver.

This is a great old Waylon Jennings / Anita Carter song and Jessica seems to have channelled Anita or something because I can sure hear Anita in her voice.

Ol' Waylon sang this before he started to be an "Outlaw" - whatever that was! You see, to me, there was nothing much "Outlaw" about him except some bad habits (which he freely admitted to, years later) and the fact that HE wanted to produce the music his fan wanted and not some sausage machine production, prettied up rubbish that the studios wanted him to release. He wanted it raw and edgy - which he then subsequently did!
