Canadian jeweller who shot robber wants more gun rights

On October 22, 2009, Dennis Galloway shot at two robbers in his jewelry store with a handgun, wounding one of them. He says the right to self-defence is eroding in Canada, but RCMP disagree with him.

For his heroic efforts in preserving the lives of himself and his wife, Dennis Galloway has been given a Bravery award from the Canadian Association for Self Defence.

my uncle does say, (hes a RCMP officer), you do have the right to shoot and kill to protect ur life under some extend, if police protection wont come in time, if the assailant is armed and dangerous, and need to say that hes under arrest , if he doesnt flee or compels, thats the moment, but if he runs away cant shoot him in the back, self defense is there just a bit more complicated than our friends to the south haha, self defense is natural right period
