The station I worked at back in 1985 used to run his syndicated show "On The Radio w/Big Ron O'Brien".

Wow, he passed away way too young. Working in the biz, you meet a lot of on-air people with a lot of tude. Somehow, I don't think Ron was like that at all. Just seemed to be like somebody you'd wanna hang out with. Very rare in the radio biz... but truly welcomed.

He sounds so much like the Big Ron O'Brien that worked at 95.1 WXIL in Parkersburg WV in the late 70's early 80's.
