On to part three of this **VINTAGE** episode of ABC's $20,000 Pyramid!! Originally broadcasted the week of 4/24/78-4/28/78, with special guests Adrienne Barbeau (then of the hit sitcom Maude), and comedian Soupy Sales (then of the short-lived New Soupy Sales Show). Will Cathy (yes, another Cathy...) make it back to the Pyramid for $15,000? Will Adrienne or Soupy be dubbed the winner of this challenge match? Let's check it out!

That was a good match there. Adrienne & Souy teams were evenly matched towards the end until Soupy's team took the fall. The celebrity challenge is nice although it should only be called that if four celebs were playing at the same time (i.e. All Star Super Password Special). The word FEUD I think was said already; o it was dispute but it sounded like feud. The $1,000 should have carried every week to give celebs an incentive to come on the show and play well.

The "Mike" that Dick Clark is talking about here is Mike Gargiulo, the director of the original New York City episodes of "Pyramid".

Given the studio setting, ABC's TV-15 is a hop skip and a jump to go from the podium to the big pyramid...CBS Television City...well that's like walking from one town to another.
