"SHOOL" was one of Ram Gopal Verma's excellent creations which not only won National Award for Best Film in Hindi, but also won various other awards for performances, particularly for Manoj Bajpai, who won the prestigious BFJA Best Acor Award, Filmfare Best Actor - Critics Award and Zee Cine Best Supporting Actor Award for his excellent portrayal of an honest Police Officer. The film boasted of absolutely believable portrayals from actors like Vineet Kumar as Tiwari, Ganesh Yadav as Husain, Shri Vallabh Vyas as DSP. Sayaji Shinde as the main villain got Star Screen Award for Best Villain. The film lays bare the atrocious, polical-criminal nexus in Bihar, and Manoj Bajpai shows exceptional fury and raw energy in the role of an honest Police Officer. Hats off to the screenplay writers and director E Niwas for making this outstanding film, which must not be missed by any film buff.
