I've ever thinked that both those movies (The little mermaid and Ponyo on the cliff) were really beautifull, but really similar! They have similar story (a mermaid falled in love with a human), and Ariel is similar to Ponyo quite like Sosuke is similar to Erik, the most difference is that Ponyo and Sosuke are children and Ariel and Erick are adult yet. So, I've had this idea: hope you like it. I think that the storyline is understandible, so I don't write that^^

This is adorable. I love Ponyo and The Little Mermaid. I agree. They both are a lot alike. If I remember correctly I think Ponyo was based off the Little Mermaid story book. Great job with the video. One of the best and a great idea to combine the two. :D

Your take on the the little mermaid story was soo cute! I like how Ponyo and Sosuke play kid!mermaid and kid!human while Ariel and Eric portray the grown-up versions of the kids! ^^

They're the same cuz the story was written by the same guy. (I forget his name but I think it's Hans christian or something) and I've never seen ponyo, but good job :)
