@FillingtheVoidRevues Thanks! I dont know any Phil Ochs songs unfortunately. I know he was a protest singer and he hung himself with a geetar string but thats about all I know about that Cat.

@onewomanandsomesongs Thanks Janet! Yes! Johnny Cash and others wanted to record his songs but for some strange reason he wouldnt let them! He would be famous now if he let them and whole lot of people would have know his songs! But sadly most never will now! Thanks!

I just found out about Utah Phillips only a year ago. Can you believe it? I believe Johnny Cash wanted to cover lots of his songs, but he chose to stay non-commercial for the most part. He's an excellent songwriter, and you did a great cover of him, Dan. Most enjoyable. :) Janet
