http://www.cleanairgardening.com/ We love our Energy Star rated sky lights because they bring in natural lighting to our offices and warehouse spaces. They help cut our lighting energy bill and keep the heat out cutting our air conditioning costs!
The new microfiber reflective technology used in ORCA would likely work well in a Skylight or solar tube in place of the paint because it has significantly higher reflectivity than paint, combined with a true diffuse reflection - resulting in more photons / light making it into room. Have you seen this yet in daylighting products?

That's not true at all.
It's not anything like a regular skylight that lets in so much heat that your room never stays cool.
The SolaTube is Energy Star rated, and you can put you hand right up to it and you still don't feel heat coming off of it.

We didn't install these in the photo developing room or the employee napping room, so I'm not sure.

the company offers dimmer switches that will allow you to control the amount of light entering your room. checked them out on their website.
