  • St Augustine did not believe that the bread and wine Jesus speaks of in Jn6 was to be taken literally.  He calls it a "figure." The eucharist as currently taught by the RCC did not become dogma until the 4th lateran council in 1215

  • The Eucharist ,{bread and wine} is an incorporated Pagan Totemism System .Mithraism was the religion in the Roman Empire in the 1st through 5th centuries A.D. One of the key features of Mithraism was a sacrificial meal, which involved eating the flesh and drinking the blood of a bull ,you was granted Salvation to those who " Ate and drank " " the sacrificial meal . This Pagan Rite even had its own name " lectisternia " . Transubstantiation was first practiced by Pagan Religions
