That's a good question. I personally think she's very dependent: depends on Crown (for sex, happy dust and protection), then depends on Porgy, and when she's made to believe that she's lost Porgy, depends on Sportin' Life. She's the ultimate victim. Even for giving up drugs she needs Porgy. I know people like that.
