Rare video clips of trout feeding on flies. Captured in Beartooth Mountains of Montana. The original version of this movie was viewed 133,000 times. I added this version because it is higher resolution.

  • you guys put some nice videos on here and I have enjoyed them a lot, BUT puhleez buy a better camera so you can record better pictures.....or maybe I can arrange a donation to buy you guys one on your birthday...........amazing work thou :)

  • Video was shot on Hi-8 camcorder with older editing software. Newer equipment I now have would have done a much better job of capturing scenes. But that was all I had at the time. I may re-edit it and post a hi-rez version. Who has time?

  • Absolute magic ,It dosen't come any better than this, what beautiful memories to hold a lifetime! Not many people will have had the pleasure of enjoying a pristine beautiful area like this and the bounty that nature provides to those who take time to relish nature and Mother Earth!

  • lol u need a bigger belly boat.

  • yeah. whitefish is hard just cause there's so much traffic.. spinner fishing in the lake is a lot easier.. swan would be alright if you had an inflatable and it was the right times.

  • Well I have to tell you, that is living. In God's country. I love Montana, Colorado and Wyoming. Keep it up hopefully you can post more of these great clips.

  • ever fly fish swan lake, or whitefish lake?

  • wow, that is some great video footage. Would love to see more.

  • beautiful fishing, this is the kind of videos i can appreciate... thanks

  • What size pack are you guys carrying? I would find it hard to fit my float tube, vest, waders and camping gear in my pack.

I love Montana, I fished Rock Creek this summer, I only had an hour or so of fishing time, but I didn't care, it was worth it.
