no need for FD as in the past! If you're bored maybe you should be out doing Fire Prevention, and Inspections, instead of wasting fuel, and putting the vehicles and crews at risk for EMS runs.
@jazzbutterworth Okay thanks for that, I didn't understand as in the UK we just mobilise an ambulance. However we do have in some stations what is called a Co-Responder which is just a small car with a blue light that has a medically trained firefighter onboard who may get the first. Normally though the trucks are kept for fire service related incidents. Anyway, thanks for that.
@falcon9278 By stabilize, I mean keep the patient safe, treat them, ect. before the ambulance arrives. But the ambulance can sometimes be first on scene, so basically, the truck is there for extra support.
@lifelinepaul E-11 is on Sisson Ave in Hartford with L-5 and the Rehab bus this truck isn't a Ferarra its a Pierce Saber.

@HFD97FIRE2 Yea, and they could do the same job with a small unit and not use tax dollars wearing out a high price piece of equipment!
EMS is the only thing keeping the FD alive, so people need to face the truth.
