I disagree completely. We are much more influenced by the US than by Britain. Politically yes, culturally absolutely not.

All im saying is that the UK was where it all began, and we should cherish that relationship more than anyother. We have been influenced a little more by the states but thats only because they are directly to the south of us.

UK started everything. Doesn't mean we have close ties. I'm sure that IF Canada got invaded the first help we'd get would be from the Americans and not the British.

Queen Elizabeth II is our Monarch, she is on our money, and we are also part of the Commonwealth of nations. The us is nothing but a close ally to us.
