Robot Wants Ice Cream speed run in 5:41

I will have kitty and ice cream nightmares after countless attempts over the last 2 days including dying with kitty's last form barely alive and timer showing 6:58 (which would result in a time just under 5 minutes). This attempt is pretty reasonable though, could take some less hits but more or less I'm done with the game, feel free to improve upon this one. Read the annotations for explanations of my plan, ideas for improvements and thoughts on the game in general.

Im trying to do a 100% speed run of this. Which is really tough.. Since I'm kinda lazy I think it's going to be kinda sloppy.. Watching your run is a great help though. What program do you use to record your screen?

p.s. You can take the security cores out way faster if you use the atom bomb attack on the red thingy. You're invincible for hits and it does way more damage.

@TheOdd1000 then you don't have the upgrade. Watch down in your bar if you have some eagle-like logo. If you don't, you should go find it. If you do. Keep holding Down until you start flying

@TheOdd1000 You need the fly upgrade, at the start there is one after the tank-boss-thingy and 1before the spaceship-boss-thingy. If you have it. Hold down until you rise up and move with the arrow keys.
