Pres_ent Obama taunts the Supreme Court, Justice Alito Reacts...

"POLITICO's Kasie Hunt, who's in the House chamber, reports that Justice Samuel Alito mouthed the words "not true" when President Barack Obama criticized the Supreme Court's campaign finance decision."

"President Wrong on Citizens United Case (Bradley A. Smith)

Tonight the president engaged in demagoguery of the worst kind, when he claimed that last week's Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v. FEC, "opened the floodgates for special interests — including foreign corporations — to spend without limit in our elections. Well I don't think American elections should be bankrolled by America's most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities."

The president's statement is false. "

  • Justice Alito, you made the right decision and don't let the sheep clapping make you feel any different.

  • @mogul1265 I believe this has now set the precedent for corporations to be considered legal peoples. This removes all accountability and transparency allowing them to donate unlimited amounts of money anonymously to whomever will push their agenda. Look up the definition of fascism and tell me what country that sounds like.

  • Goodbye democracy, hello corporate pluteucrazy! The conservatives do not understand that government does not disappear, it just changes form! And the corporate pluteacrats are not elected... nor do they have term limits and there is very little control over them by the people. This is very dangerous!

  • hahaha

  • Im having trouble with this whole issue. I thought corporations where always allowed to contribute to candidates. And if they have to jump through hoops to do it, then this doesn't really matter. Why is he bringing it up?
