If your LEDs dont light up here are a couple troubleshooting problems that you may have

1) 1 or more of the LEDs are facing the wrong way
2) They light up but are very dim - Not enough voltage or you could have the LED the wrong way
3) LED feels very warm to the touch - LED is the wrong way around or doesnt have the right resister and should be fixed instantly before it burns out

  • bang those skins...not related to video but rock on if you still playyyyyyyy

  • So I can soder how ever many leds I want with only one resistor? Are there different resistors?

Can i connect them all to a 9v button cell battery?

  • @TheRuralGrowerMan you have to make sure your power supply is capable of providing power to that many LEDs. A power supply only provides a certain wattage (P=E*I) and you don't want your LED circuit to exceed that wattage. 260 is a lot of LEDs and at 20mA per LED that's probably over 30 watts. so a 12 volt power supply would have to provide close to 3 amps.

  • hi, great help, 1 question, does it matter how many leds i string together, if i wanted to make a board of say 260 led's do i have one resistor, 1 power supply of 12v?

  • my right ear hurts :(

  • ok brother,thanks for help

  • @nina1qaz :I would say that no special wiring. Jjust make sure it has enough wire thickness to handle load. The only thing you need to get to A-Z is just a longer wire.

  • @osamamoto I'm not sure if this will be the help you need but make sure you use a solder with built in flux. It makes the solder stick to wire and keeps it from running and able to stick.

  • @tomx63 Thank you sir lol.

  • what is the resistance of the resistor
