Elvis lives on as an endless source of joy and inspiration. After some 40 years of almost daily immersion in his work and the facts of his biography, my admiration only deepens. My pride in him as an American and a Southerner has been a life-long priveledge, even as my country has changed beyond recognition. I'm so grateful to have experienced America at it's peak and the image of this man (in his "American Eagle" Aloha jumpsuit!) is the perfect symbol of that place and time. @TrueLight55-Amen!!
