First time riding a dirt bike

Brayden is 8 years old and this is his first experience on a 2 stroker dirtbike

2001 Kawasaki KX 65

We went out to the "Dayton Pits" and had some fun practicing the basics.

We definitely need to work on his shifting and clutch control. But most importantly he seems to be enjoying it and wants to ride again asap! Stay tuned for day 2...

i litterally rode my first clutch yesterday and i got it first try even learned to hold a wheelie for at least 5 sec.

but hes good keep on ridding(:

when your 8 its hard to get the concept of timing and clutch control....though some have do learn it quickly and poses the skill naturally. good job on learning quickly! post some vids of your wheelie!!!

@Cashkitty17 HAHA! That bike had some guts. I had to sell it because it was way tooooo powerful of a bike for him for a starting bike. Maybe getting an older CR100 or something with less torque and a forgiving powerband. He is 10 now and getting a bit taller so...we'll see!

@hd8398 age has notthing to do with what bike you get...its really height and experince that determine the bike you get.

Not bad at all! He love how he gassed and popped the clutch without even thinking about it i tried to teach a kod i know to roost outta first but he was scared. Ha cool vid i hope to have the same experience with a kid of my own someday
