Actually, this would be better categorized as Dieselpunk----Steampunk's little brother which encompass the post-Victorian, World Wars I & II look; The big difference is the dominance of combustion engines over steam technology, and cars, buildings, and other tech appearing more Art-Deco style. For example, the movie Sky Captain is actually Dieselpunk, not Steampunk, unless you consider Dieselpunk a subdivision. Then of course there's a future-postapocalyptic OR Once-Upon-A-1900s side to both...

Хех, космические корабли на паровой тяге!.. Надо полагать, если б фильм был снят в жанре дизельпанк, то космические корабли на дизельной тяге летали бы к другим звездным системам?
В целом, фильм снят неплохо, но сюжет так себе.
