It's thru a cheap Kustom Contender 15w valve combo - doesn't sound bad for £100 or so in the UK. I've had a few of these imported from the US including an almost mint curly maple blonde H47 (called the H48) like yours. I kinda miss that one - a lot! They also come in regular sunburst, redburst and tobacco sunburst like mine. Keep looking on Ebay for a selector switch as they do come up for sale sometimes. Cheers, A

I have a few questions. I just LOVE this guitars shape! So i want to make one (I'm a guitar builder) And i can't find any blueprints anywhere, so i depend on videos and pictures on Internet. First of all, Is this guitar semi acoustic without holes? How Thick is is body?

Hi yes it has a chambered body so it is light and essentially a semi-acoustic. Not surprised you couldn't find any blueprints! Body depth is 4.8cm.

these are dearmond rowe pickups the best acoustic magnetic pickups that were ever made,they use 100k pots ans 1.0 caps and a tone cut no load switch

Put 2 P-90s on that thing with a Bigsby tremolo. You will like it a lot more

I never use the neck pickup on my les paul. Do you think I'd still like this guitar though only one pickup? And, is it easy to play. I've played a harmony rocket h54 (i think) and it was easy to play.

Hey mate you are quite a good player. What amp are you playing through? A Champ? I have the same guitar except mine ts totally blond with a tortoise shell pick guard and brown knobs. Most of the ones I have seen are sunburst. What exactly does the switch do? Does it drop a couple of capacitors of different values depending on the position in line with the pick to alter the tone. When I got mine in 1983 for $75.00 the lever knob was missing and I cant find one in brown anywhere. So round it is.
