  • You will NOT believe this but......I photographed this very appliance a couple of weeks ago!!!

    Its now stored, in full glory, at G26 (old D22) Acton Fire Station.

    I was chuffed as (under my DonRak account) I mentioned I was gutted when I was younger when they withdrew the PEs from D22 Acton.

  • When fire appliances looked like fire appliances!! The 50' PE is my all-time favourite appliance.

    My Dad was at D22 Acton from its days as a Middlesex Fire Brigade station until the 80's and I went there once to photograph the PE and they'd got rid of it!!! GUTTED!!

  • this would have been complete with a dennis rs recing behind it or a shelvoke spv

  • You turn out quicker than Chiswicks pump ladder!
