I argue that music which is attached to a memory (like with soundtracks to movies etc) can be enjoyed to a greater extent than any music which is not. For that matter, game music can be attached to more memories than any other genre, and can therefore be considered the ultimate genre of music. The exception is that when someone writes music, that music can surpass anything else for that person's self.
