My Dad got on this Old Ship Monday and is with our LORD and SAVIOR in Heaven now. Thank you for putting this song on You Tube. It sure is a comfort in this time of loss. May GOD bless you all! Death will take us all, unless our LORD returns first. If any of you do not know JESUS CHRIST personally I beg of you to do so before it is too late or you meet death unsaved. Hell is real. I am glad to know I m saved and will see my Dad again oneday soon.

This is my sons favorite song He loves it. He is leaving next month to go to Sheffield Ohio to preach he is only 34 yrs old. Please pray for him and his family that God will bless them. He is giving up everything for God to preach Gods word.
I will only see them twice a year. It is gonna be hard since my lost my Daughter 9-21-2002 at 25yrs old.May God bless.Keep up the good word Phillip.

This was sung in our church by our minister of music just a few weeks ago. He said he was not sure if he would get through it as he got a big lump in his throat every time he sung it. He did a beautiful job.
It holds a special place in my heart as my folks were fishermen off the east coast of Scotland, and I remember going to a service for the crew of a fishing boat that had gone down in the North Sea.
