Beautiful song and beautifully sung here by Liam, but ive got to also give credit to the fiddle player in this, absolutely brilliant.
Anyone know his name?

I finally remembered what this song brings out of the attic of memory: Rumours Bar in Falmouth, 27th November, 1992. Someone out there may remember the occasion!

Carolholm, you are dead right. There is no combination under Heaven greater than a Dave Mallett song and Liam Clancy to sing it. Think of this, or The Painter, for example.

Its wonderful see what a performer Liam was. When you hear him you feel he was THERE; he lived these events jimself.
