    oh dear

  • Believe me, I'm with you all the way

  • whats the name of the song used?

  • It's called 'Monday' by Jon Brion, from the I Heart Huckabees soundtrack. Great film, great soundtrack :)

  • How many existentialists does it take to change a lightbulb? Two. One to screw it in, and one to observe how the lightbulb itself symbolises a single incandescent beacon of subjective reality in a netherworld of endless absurdity, reaching toward the ultimate horror of a maudlin cosmos of bleak, hostile nothingness. Lol.

  • I think I'll be using that! *ticks* haha

  • Albert Camus was NOT an existentialist. often he is mixed up with Satre's movement, even though they had a falling out before one of them died.

  • Keep spelling Nietzsche's name wrong[ly]; I guess that's pretty individualistic.

  • @jayyy689 there was a woman :D (Simone de Beauvoir)

  • All those guys are white males.

  • yah, so Sartre coined the term.

  • This video is actually straight up wrong. It says existentialism is a sister philosophy with Nihilism...really? Read some more books.

  • I agree with existentialism in all, except for one - the moral law exists, moral estimations of our deeds - also exist.

Sometime the science will descover, that each our action has moral weight.

In human genom our deeds are written in the form of special codes - negative or positive moral judges, which collects for many reincarnations, and moral karma (or immoral) defines a quality of lives and inviroment of the person (kind conditions or malicious - for his moral lesson ).

  • No, no, no. The entire point of existentialism is the isolation of the individual.

  • Which is unrelated to existentialism.

  • Dude. I am like, soooo serious.

Read the "World View Summary of Existentialism". Existentialism has been broken into theistic and atheistic forms. Although both believe there is no transcendent truth, theistic existentialism insists that each person must take the "blind leap of faith" to believe in God. (It's a way of coping in not knowing the truth).

    At least Google it.
