Custom instrument panel (altimeter / variometer and compass) for paragliding this coming winter on Alaska's north slope. The compass is a ship's compass that's guided me across hundreds of miles of Arctic winter terrain and is normally attached to a chest harness for land navigation; it's been removed, for use on this thigh-mount, but can still be fastened to the chest harness. The alti-vario is an old but capable model. The LCD displays will probably only last a few moments in the cold before freezing up; I'm working on solutions to that. Shown here is the panel as attached to my temperate weather flight suit, but it'll eventually be fixed to my Arctic flight suit supplied by Rab UK. Thanks to Don Froth for the cool music (www.donfroth.com). For more on the Alaska expeditions see www.soloice.com.

Great, now you're ready to go to mars, hahaha, but I see the practicality of what you're showing though.
