Dota Extreme Domination, better known as DXD on US West, is proud to present a one-on-one dota tournament, offering the highest cash prizes in our four year history as a popular gaming league. We anticipate a large pool of players of varying skill level from all around the world.

First Prize: $100
Second Prize: $60
Third Prize: $40

There will be also be a complimentary wine bottle to the winner. We would like to send a special shoutout to Luckywanderboy for his contribution.

Requirements:

In order to register one must have a minimum of 5 dxd games under their belt.

Dota Client, an anti-hack software used by all dxd players, must be used.

Rules:

The mode for the whole tournament will be apshomnp, or All Pick, Same Hero, Only Middle, and No Powerups.
The game will last for 15 minutes and the first player to die 3 times will be considered defeated. If a winner is not decided within that time period, the winner will be decided by a point system as follows:

1) last hitting a creep- 2 points
2) denying a creep- 3 points
3) killing enemy heroes- 40 points for FIRST BLOOD, 35 points for any subsequent kill regardless of how it happens (suicide/killed by creeps)
4) killing towers- Killing an enemy tower yourself will be worth 30 points. However, if your creeps last hit the tower instead, you only get 25 points for it. If you get it denied, you will only get 20 points.
5) While neutral creeping will be allowed, the player will receive no points for killing them.

The player with higher points after 15 mins, if there is no clearcut winner by then by kills, will be the winner.

Every round will be played to a pre-chosen hero.

Round1: Viper
Round2: Silencer
Round3: Shadow Fiend
Round4: Queen of Pain
Round5: Pudge
Round6: Priestess of the Moon
Round7: Enchantress
Any round after this will be played to Viper.

Banned Strategies:

Stout Shield and Poor man's shield are banned. Any kind of abuse, including but not limited to, glitches, bugs and hacks will lead to immediate disqualification.

All decision regarding this tournament made by the collaborated effort of DXD Staff and Board of Administrators will be final. We reserve the right to deny registration and disqualify anyone as seen appropriate.

Please note any kind of racism, excessive flame and poor sportsmanship could lead to disqualification from the tournament.

Registration is open as of now. Please reply to this thread with your Battle.Net account name, and realm (where you play from, for example Battle net east, or DXD, DCL, Garena etc)

The deadline for registering is in 2 weeks (11/23/09)
