This video shows a PC infected with the Cutwail trojan and rootkit.

GMER scans first, followed by Norton 360 and then finally Prevx CSI.

  • Hi Thrilok,

I'm not sure this is the correct forum for customer support ;)

Why not try contacting us though our support channel on our website and I'm sure we'll be glad to help :)

  • HOW CAN I KEY ????????????

  • Hi Thrilok,

Prevx CSI and Edge both offer free scanning, detection and reporting of malware on your machine.

If you wish to enable malware removal or real-time protection, then you can purchase a license from the Prevx website.

    Hope that helps.

  • so did Prevx drop the CSI from its name ? or is that different from "Prevx 3.0"?

  • Norton fails to catch the threats, Prevx catches and removes them easily.

Prevx is the best way hands-down to keep a clean machine clean, period.

This comes from PCMagazine. Go Prevx! :-)

  • Snort'en Norton always leaves a lot to be desired. IMHO.

  • i want the key :(((((((((((((

  • That NAV2009 didn't detect everything is another thing. I don't expect an AM product to detect *everything* as that simply doesn't exist. Every product will find something the other misses. The solution? Layered defense. Could even include some type of Sandbox to be really tight. Together with a strong AV, that's, incl. powerful heuristics, it's a very solid setup. This guy SERIOUSLY needs to get the facts. Even Matt Rizos don't know all the facts about specifical security software.

  • Is he completely retarded? 1. It's NAV2009 2. Norton 360 is always behind with the technology as it's released later compared to NIS and NAV. 3. He said it only detected tracking cookies. That was the items it detected as low-risks that you decide about yourself. Total detected the first scan (Quick Scan), was 2, 1 tracking cookie, and one high-risk which was removed automatically since it was. 4. He continues to think that's it! Very unprofessional. Sounds like a german accent or something...
