Every animation student draws a sack of flour as their first character animation, so here's mine dancing a little jig to Oogie Boogie's Song, from Nightmare Revisited.
LEGAL STUFF: Don't rip this video just because I'm using music that isn't mine. It's a tiny little snippet that's so miniscule, no one could possibly consider it stealing from Walt Disney Records. In fact, you know what? Here, have some free advertising on me. *clears his throat* Go out and buy NIGHTMARE REVISITED on compact disc or iTunes! Alright, so a couple of the songs are butchered (you know who you are), but trust me, it's definitely worth your time and money. There. Now you can't say that my vid is infringing on Disney's property, because I just told my entire audience to go out and buy their records. What other youtuber is going to do THAT, I ask you?
And besides, Danny Elfman used to go to the same university as me, and according to my animation professor, he'd be honored to find his music inspiring future alumni, so nyeh. :P

WOW that's great Bob!
let me guess hand drawn? is there a script you need to follow? or do you just make up a dance? really looks great!
i just got a pen and tablet for my laptop. pretty cool. but the colouring is odd. i sometimes cant even tell if i dint close the drawing, ill zoom in and try to find the problem and can not even find it sometimes!
oh well.
you really think that legal mombo jombo is going too work? ive seen vids get pulled even when protected by fair use.

It's hand-drawn, but my professor thinks it could pass off for a CGI animation. ;D The animation principles for this isn't too unlike working in CG; I drew the keyframes according to what I wanted the sack to do in sync with the music, then when that worked, I drew the rest of the frames in between the keys.
If my legal mumbo-jumbo doesn't work, I have less fear of this being yanked off than some of my other vids. Disney seems cool enough with people using their properties. :P
