Sebastien Cloutier, he looks like that retard that makes all the annoying faces with the "best improvisation ever ::smiley face::" video. Damn Dufour > both this guy and... whoever that other guy is combined.

@Made4EvilUsed4Good i'll put it simply. the atypical mesh wasn't my favorite largely cause of Sebastian. I think he's a talented guy--nothing unique but definitely a solid guitar player. However, as an acoustic player he still sounds like an electric guitar put on the acoustic. He almost makes it sound damn good too, but I suppose I'm picky, i think i'd rather he stick to electric guitar. that's my 2 cents at least.

@sachary the only reason it sounds like Cloutier took all the space was because he was trying to...this song was made for his new album and he always takes centre stage even in his Electric songs

very interesting mesh of style here. atypical, but seems to work. it's growing on me. btw, anyone else notice that when Sebastien plays electric he doesn't wear glasses and has a 'lil soul patch, but on acoustic he's clean shaven with glasses. makes him look sophisticated, haha.

I agreed with you, but now I finally hear what they are doing. Dufour's basically playing a complicated syncopated rhythm where his beat pattern and Cloutier's beat pattern don't sound like they match up at that instant. I've accepted when listening to this style of music that just because something sounds strange to my non-savant ears, that doesn't mean that something is mathematically or musically wrong. It could just mean that it's so complicated I can't hear the pattern.
