Medic regen changes:

- Base regen amount increased from 1/sec to 3/sec
- Regen amount increase since time of last damage decreased from 3x to 2x
- End result of above: Old healing scaled from 1/sec to 3/sec based on time since being damaged (maxed out at 10 seconds). New healing scales from 3/sec to 6/sec

Blutsauger changes:

- Replaced "No critical hits" negative attribute with "-2 health drained per second on wearer"
- Health drain stacks on top of the above Medic regen changes, lowering the base regen by 2h/sec

So essentially if you have the blutsauger equipped in your hand you will only get 1HP/sec. I did the video test with the blutsauger equipped in my weapon slot, but I was using the kritz medigun the whole time.

  • @Locker344 Maybe it was because it wasn't exactly four, and he rounded it.

  • One of the Medic's main priorities is survival, therefore, they can heal the team.

  • @ichairmanmao Not saying its a bad thing just that Health regain is enough and now there ramping it uhp. Could be a sign of maybe a new WAR where everyone gets signatures super wepons or new wepons in general who know we can only hope

    indeed they do, but in a combat situation the blutsauger is still better. It's reasonable to assume you'll be taking enough damage frequently enough (keep in mind, this is if you're in a "jam") to keep your regen rate at its lowest. With needlegun, your max will be 3HP a second. With blutsauger, it'll be 1HP a second in addition to each needle that hits, which will each give you +3HP. If you get just 1 hit out of the 10 per second, you'll have +4HP per second; better than needle.

  • Imo, the regen rate should be higher.

  • You didn't mention another recent nerf that the blutsauger now takes -2+/sec off the wearer... so carrying the blutsauger makes you heal slower than if you carried the needle gun. This is why I assumed they changed the heal rate, to "balance" the blutz with the needle gun. Before everyone rolled blutz because it was clearly the better choice, but now they both have unique pros/cons.
