    No more need to on board fuel for delta-v changes. Just do the math and hop from one bit of debris to the next. This is the kind of innovative approach that the burgeoning commercial space industry will need.

    If companies like SapceX and others who want to use space for profit, mine asteroids, etc can't get to space, they can't make a profit in space. This gives them a major incentive to keep space clean and develop things to clean it up. You need to think of profit in a different way, and convince the rich that it is in their best interest to do good things, rather than demonize them and shut them out.

    not in a world where progress is depended on how much profit it can create. nobody cares about the future of humanity if certain individuals cant make large amounts of money. it is a curse of our kind that people with intelect and good intentions are being ignored by people with the power to make their ideas a reality.
