  • I HUMBLY bow in GRATITUDE for teaching GIVEN & RECIVED exactly when NEEDED. NAMASTE!

  • All Buddhist masters engage in death meditation to realize the truth of their mortality. The meditation is not really about death although it seemed like it but actually about life and how prioritize things with the correct view of our mortality.

  • this is one reason i think spiritual teachings are better for you than any social religion...no fear mongering...no worshiping...nothing but understanding.

  • we are all destined for death, it makes sense to recognize and accept this, and indeed prepare for it.

Yes, there is no religion higher than truth. Did you listen to the whole talk? Rinpoche is not trying to compare religions and say Tibetan Buddhism is better than any other path. He addresses this at 38:50. Ultimately, there is no right or wrong belief system. It only points out the way. If it leads you to realize the truth of nature of mind, then that is the true path which is right for you. Namaste.

  • Very nice. Thank you.

I would not say that no one knows. The buddha and realized masters can check. The masters can check through logic and based on knowledge of the scriptures.

  • @rainbowlght but in finding out that's when we can live meaningfully. Save us a whole lot of bother later. Plus we don't end up in the lower realms . Hhdl said know the rules so u know how to work it :)

  • @rainbowlght hi, which country are you from? What you say is so true? People generally don't want to talk about death and they don't want to know or find out. They might even be scared to find out.

  • @mrsidjulius hello, do you study the lam rim ? Have you checked out rinpoche's blog ?

  • Thank you Teacher, learn alot and had always enjoyed the lively talks. Very interesting learnings. May all be happy and kind.

  • tibetan buddhism is no better than freemasonry. i know your truths. there is no religion higher than truth. remember that.
