I just installed my Magnaflow Catback Exhaust on my MKIV jetta. This is for people who are debating on getting the exhaust. You can hear the sounds at neutral when its at full throttle, then you can hear it at slow acceleration, then a high speed pass.

  • Was this a weld-less job? I know the magnaflow muffler is a bolt on, but do i have to weld anything to the catalytic extension? Thanks in advance.

  • @EpicMw2Genious Yes, no welding was needed. The only thing is you have to cut the stock pipe (I used my dad's Tiger Saw) to remove the old exhaust pipe.

  • Bad ass sound, is that the complete set?

  • @Sherrod103 What exactly do you mean by complete set? It is the entire exhaust up to the catalytic converter. I love the exhaust. I've had it for probably almost 5 years now.

  • Should I get A VW JEtta Fo r$ 9,000??What you guys think??

  • Shop around and test drive the car. I got my 2000 GLX VR6 (cold weather pkg, manual, leather, monsoon system) with 74,000 miles for $6400. This was back in 2004. That was definitely a good deal I got! It's still running now with 181,000 miles to date.

  • I bet half the time its from an abusive parent. If you brake the handle on the glove compartment, you got anger issues and need to chill

  • @pilotboy17 Yeah that is a good deal. My best friend got a 1.8t with 104K on it for $7,000, I was really thinking she should've shopped around more. Now doesn't want a stick shift and so she's selling it to me for $2,000, THAT'S a good deal XD

  • @alhex123 Are you referring to a VR6 or a 1.8T (assuming that you would not be asking about the base model as that would be a big hell no!)
