  • is he saying that pod studio= many amps ....???

means i dont have to buy that costly amps if this pod

  • @LOVENISH10 POD Studio interfaces come with the standard model set. You can see them at line6 (dot) com /podstudiogx/podfarm.html

  • is this the cheapest and best interface to record on a pc/laptop for a good quality lets say album??? can u plug mics into it aswell?, does it work if you plug your guitar into your pedal and then through that into the interface?

  • @DazedConfused1969 Hi, the first part of your question is subjective, but we would say yes :) The UX1, UX2, KB37, and UX8 can accept Microphone inputs. And yes, you can plug your guitar into a separate external guitar effect pedal and plug that into the POD Studio interfaces to use with POD Farm and/or recording.

  • I was wondering, i'm going to buy a guitar, and wanted to record it for school things and for personal use, and was wondering about how this will work, I was going to get a guitar, the line6 floor pod, and an amp, but wanted to record it with the effects from either the amp and the floor pod, or just the floor pod, but dont understand if the quality will be what I wanted. Was going to get the UX1, will all these components go together? Or is there more than just hooking them up altogether?

  • @l337firefly ...software and the UX1 hardware into a recording program (like Ableton Live lite that comes with our interfaces). You wouldn't need Floor POD to record with UX1, but Floor POD is also necessary if live performance with an amp is what you really need.

  • @line6movies Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated

  • @l337firefly Floor POD will work great connecting into an amp or a PA, but to record the audio from it to a computer, you need an additional audio interface, such as UX1. If you get a UX1, you can do all the guitar recording w/processed guitar amp/fx modeling using just the POD Farm 2.51... (continued below)

  • @DazedConfused1969 Would like to now about the pedal question as well. If anyone knows please tell us!

  • @SlinkMusic An audio interface is a piece of hardware that allows you to input an audio signal directly to your computer through either a USB or Firewire connection. You still need to use recording software though. The POD Studio devices come bundled with a lite version of Ableton Live which you use to record your input signal. Make sense?
