I couldn't see the video because I was blinded by his shirt. His voice, however, makes up for it.

This is definitely my favourite version of Johanna. Hugh's voice and facial expressions are just so perfect! Truly and utterly beautiful.
On a side note, I personally think the shirt is cute. Not many men can wear pink paisley.

He does this very well but I have to admit I prefer Davis Gaines version. But that could be because I have a similar voice, so I'm kinda biased.

It's so interesting because I've watched Howard McGillins and Hugh's renditions of Johanna and while their both Phantoms, they're SO different. Hugh's such an actor and Howard just has the cleanest voice ever. Hugh's a prince charming and howards a white knight. Awesome.
And Hugh really is the NICEST person ever!!

Last time I talked to Hugh, he was wearing a blue silk shirt and I told him, "You look wonderful...and no paisley!" He gave me a sad puppy look and said, "But...but what's wrong with paisley?"
