@csp555 you're right to a certain extent. honestly listen to John Nolan. He definitely belts parts of this song, he is just very practiced at it. There isnt anything with yelling as long as it sounds correct and it doesn't strain your voice. I have to imagine that a lot singers have tend to sing quite loud, you just never notice because the mixing that goes into producing a song covers it up.

you should have put the piano settings to grand piano. that way the cords would have been sustained.
