Excellence - Crane Clan Entry for L5R Video Contest

This is my entry into the Legend of the Five Rings Video Contest for the Race for the Throne. It's a fan video I made during my spare time in the last few months. I recently graduated with an animation focus, but I don't animate outside of my own free time, so it's nice to practice my skills now and again. It's far from perfect, but I think it turned out OK considering my limited skill and the equipment I have on hand. It's also too bad that YouTube cuts down the framerate so bad... Anyway, it's inspired equally by the art of Iaido and the fantasy world of Rokugan. Enjoy.

Oh, and btw, just to make this clear, this is a fan video made as an entry for a contest with no physical prize. No money was made or earned from this video.

this is very nice. the drawings are not the best but you are on the right way. the coolest thing is the cut out (left) samurai on the still backgroung. maybe you could use some ink and a brush to make the outlines stand out a litte more and give it some "traditional japanese-style" look. but all in all really cool!
