Flipping back and forth between the 18th Century and the hapless efforts of 21st Century film makers, A Cock And Bull Story is an unorthodox adaptation of the English literary masterpiece, The Life and Opinions Of Tristram Shandy, Gentlemen, written by Laurence Sterne.

Starring Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon, Stephen Fry, Keeley Hawes and Gillian Anderson.

  • I love this, I've just been watching "The Trip" as well on BBC, I think Brydon and Coogan should do a lot more projects together.

  • Thank you so much for uploading!

  • 3:42 the music to The Draughtsmans Contract, is it not?

  • I saw this film on t.v and I could not help thinking that if anyone could have given shape to tristram shandy then it would be these guys. In spirit they were being true to the novel and it was an interesting idea to have the film flash to the modern day, but I felt the modern day section and all the resulting navel gazing from Steve coogan and Rob brydon spoiled the film and I would have liked it to continue with more emphasis on the world of Shandy rather than the world of Coogan .

  • i am watchin this for dylan moran only!!!!!

  • Fantastic! This is one of my fave novels, and have been looking forward to watching this film for a while. Cheers, hope it's as good as The Trip, which was brilliant.
