This is my first try at comparing the excellent audiobooks read by Tom Baker, with the scenes from the original Doctor Who episodes.
So this video compares the 2 versions of Creature from the Pit, not my favorite episode of all time but it is my favorite audiobook so far.
Tom Baker reads this so well, bringing such magic to the story and I think has the best range of voices he's displayed so far for the different characters (not that you'll understand that from this clip, as he's only reading the Doctor's part for this particular scene, sorry about that.)
No copyright infringement is intended, Doctor Who belongs to the BBC. I only make these videos because I love the show and everything arround it (including audiobooks like this one).
This episode isn't on DVD yet (and I wish it was) but the audiobook is great and is well worth getting, so I strongly encourage it's purchase.

  • LOL rollin'. What if he was talking into the monster's penis? LMBO.

  • the vid was better IMHO

I got much more the sense of puzzlement of the Doctor and it just seemed more real. Says allot considering the budgets of the time.

  • do you have any episodes 8 ]

  • wow how weird is this? i'm listening to this very audio book right now *pauses book to watch vid*
