Hostility towards aspies (1/3) - Do you have Asperger's Syndrome?

For today's "do you have Asperger's Syndrome" (shortened to DYHAS for lack of space in the title) I want to be serious for a bit and get some of my own hostility out on the people that just don't get it. I'm aware that this sounds a bit whiny but hey, it's still true. Some people treat aspies like we're "wrong" somehow and I can't stand it. I FINALLY found out what was RIGHT with me when I got my diagnosis, I'm not about to let some bullies push me down like they did during my entire schooling.

Again, sorry if I'm a bit angsty in this video but if you listen to the things I have to say I'm sure you'll understand. :)

What Aspie Cylons fail to see is how bullying them makes perfect sense. If it snaps like a compassionless person, it it talk like a compassionless person, if it looks at you like you're evil, the healthy (aka "neurotypical") mind plausibly assumes that you're a bad person. Stop acting like bad unfriendly selfish people and we healthy people will treat you accordingly.

Srsly, switch to decaf and look at my above comment again. Does it warrant any kind of reaction, at all, except maybe to be voted down? If you're this easy to provoke, be glad that I didn't put serious effort into trolling you. My suggestion to you is to learn to ignore arbitrary hateful drivel on youtube, because it's youtube.

@Pastor9764 The problems with trolls is that they think they got a "reaction" out of me just because I owned them back, like it takes effort or something. x.x People like you mean nothing in the world. I'm just easily annoyed on a personal level at anyone who is acting less than human since it's a waste of potential.

i think like me some of us aspies can be violent after years of torment growing up i spend a lot of time wishing i could hunt down my tormentors and slowly roasttheir inbred azzes there are aspies out their you wouldnt want to fuck with im 1 of them!!!!!

@PhilMyBod41 Well, I know how that feels. I have a lot of pent up hate inside of me. The good thing for most aspies though is that scientists have found that people who DON'T let their anger out are actually LESS likely to voilent and mean behaviour. It's the people who keep letting anger out in small bursts that get used to doing it and eventually does something they refuse.

I know a few dumbass people who says aspergers isn't real but they're to fucking stupid to understand. And they pretty much started saying that after that south park episode about aspergers. I got very offended and now they won't start talking shit to me! what should i do?

I am also a secret serial killer who has a real fascination with dinosaurs. I also find that people with AS tend not to lie and are less violent, infact i imagine most of us have the patience of a saint.

Bullies are essentially societies tolerable psychopaths. The mind-games they play are the same as psychopaths play. For a person with AS this can be very confusing and frustrating. I have AS myself so believe me, i know. You are brilliant and anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see that. I know you will rise above it.

This is part of our biology, part of our immune system, part of our mental reflexes/reactions, part of virtually every culture on earth. The only cures for it are time, and the evolution of intelligence.

I think the primary value in you producing this video, this 'rant' as you call it, is in letting aspergers sufferers know that they aren't alone. That's valuable and noble enough, but it won't solve the problem.
