@mulle871 i wouldn't fully agree as you must consider that you spend A LOT of your time watching GF-animations in FF 8. There's a much higher focus on them compared to the summons in FF7 for they will also appear faster when used often, and there are no MP-costs at all in this game making them an almost infinitely usable magic attack (that starts of with 20 seconds animations right at the start of game)

I'm playing this on my PSP, like the old days =) It's fantastic, and it's much longer than FF7, I am at the Raid between Galbadia and Balamb Gardens, just fought Seifer/Cifer and the time counter says something like 30hours =)
FF7 can be nearly completed in 30 hours, here you have seen half of the game, including storyline =)
