「この建物は制震構造となっております。」かなり心強いアナウン
スですね。 耐震構造だけでは数回に及ぶ烈震や長時間の振動には弱く、
今回のような大地震でも、本震には耐えたが余震で崩れた建物は多
いそうです。 制震構造がいかに強いかが今回の大地震で証明されましたね。

Yeah, right, Mr. social commentary. People want to call their loved ones see if they're OK, call the school where the kids are at, see if they can catch a train, check where the epicenter was. Wow, you're such a good observer of social habits, bravo. This quake was massive and terrifying in some places. What would you have done?
